한국에 도착 / Arrival in Korea / Llegada a Corea

아낙과 모노페로는 스페인에서 한국행 KE-926기를 타고 암스테르담에서 한시간 경유한 후 2011년 8월 14일에 왔다.

스톤앤워터( Stone&water )는 그들이 안양의 석수시장에서 2달 동안 예술작업을 할 수 있도록 초대하였다.

석수시장은 1979년부터 현재까지 그 명맥을 유지해오고 있다. 스톤앤워터( Stone&water )는 이 곳에서 2007년부터 매년 석수아트프로젝트(SAP)를 통하여 해외작가들과

다양한 예술창작활동을 펼치고있다.

anak&monoperro arrived in Korea from Spain on the flight KE-926 on the 14th August 2001.
They had been invited by Stone&water to work for two months at the Seoksu market in Anyang city.
Seoksu market has been functioning since 1979 and Stone&Water have been carring out the public art platform (SAP) with international artists  since 2007.

anak&monoperro llegaron a Corea el día 14 de agosto de 2011 en el vuelo KE-926.

Habian sido invitados por Stone and Water para trabajar en el mercado de Seoksu que está en la ciudad de Anyang.

El mercado de Seoksu lleva funcionando desde 1979, y Stone and Water trabajan en su proyecto de arte público (SAP) en el mercado desde 2007.

석수시장 / Seoksu Market / El mercado de Seoksu

석수시장은 살아있는 큰 동물로 보였다. 시장의 생동하는 기운은 큰 강줄기의 힘센 물결과 같았다. 

이것이 아낙과 모노페로의 석수시장에서의 첫 인상이었다.

이러한 석수시장의 첫 인상은 아낙과 모노페로에게 말하고 있었다. 석수 시장을 알기위해서는 천천히 관찰하고 존경심을 가지고 시장 사람들과 교류해야 한다고...

The  Seoksu market seemed like a a big animal, strong and alive, a wild animal, and its vital flow was like the rush of a mighty river. That was the first impression anak&monoperro had of Seoksu market. This made them understand that in order to get to know this market, they had to observe it slowly and little by little interact with its people, with respect.

El mercado de Seoksu les pareció, a anak&monoperro, como un gran animal. Un animal salvaje. Esa fue la sensación que tuvieron cuando estuvieron en el mercado, que su fluir vital era como el torrente de un rio caudaloso. Por lo que se diron cuenta de que para conocerlo debían observarlo con calma y relacionarse con el mercado poco a poco, observando sus reacciones.

아홉번째 날 그리고 그 꿈 / The Ninth night, the dream / Noveno día, el sueño

안양시에서의 아홉번째 날, 아낙과 모노페로는 같은 꿈을 꾸었다. 꿈에서 그들은 한 여인이 석수 시장을 돌아다니며 시장사람들과 그들의 삶을 수호하는 것을 보았다.

이것이 그들의 꿈의 주요내용이다.

On the ninth night in Anyang city, anak&monoperro had the very same dream.  In the dream they both saw a presence, a wise woman floating around the market looking after and taking care of its people and their destinies. That´s what anak&monoperro dreamed on their ninth night.

La novena noche, anak&monoperro, soñaron el mismo sueño. En este sueño, ambos vieron una presencia que cuidaba, protegía y unía al mercado de Seoksu.

Eso fue lo que anak&monoperro soñaron la novena noche.

절에서 계시를 받음 / Revelation in the Temple / Revelación en el templo

꿈을 꾼 다음 주말에 아낙(anak)과 모노페로(monoperro)는 '망해암' 절을 찾아갔다. 망해암에는 1479년에 지어진 거대한 조각상이 있었는데, 그 조각상은 부처와 토속신의 모습이 합쳐진 모습이었다.

아낙과 모노페로는 그 조각상을 보면서, 신의 존재와 함께 밝게 빛나는 느낌과  그들이 꾼 꿈과 관련한 계시를 느낄 수 있었다.

 그들은 같은 날 밤에 석수 정령에 관한 같은 꿈을 꾼 것은 중요한 의미를 갖는다고 생각힜다. 그들은 자신들의 꿈이 한국에서 할 작업에 대하여 정령이 보내온 계시라 생각했다.

The following weekend after the dream, anak&monoperro decided to go up to the Manghaeam Temple. In this temple there is a big statue constructed in 1479, a mixture of Buddha and shamanic deities previous to Buddhism in Korea.
anak&monoperro in company with this deity, felt illuminated and had a revelation in relation to the dream they had shared. They understood that having had the same dream on the same night about the Seoksu spirit was an important sign sent by the spirit itself about the work they had come to do in Korea.

Ese fin de semana anak&monoperro decidieron subir al templo de Manghaeam. En este templo se encuentra una estatua construida en 1479, que es una mezcla de Buda con las deidades chamánicas anteriores al budismo en Corea.

anak&monoperro estuvieron en compañía de la deidad que les ayudo y les iluminó.

Gracias a esto, anak&monoperro tuvieron una revelación en relación al sueño que habían tenido. Se dieron cuenta de que haber tenido el mismo sueño, en relación al espíritu del mercado de Seoksu, era una señal que el mercado de Seoksu les estaba mandando sobre el trabajo que habían venido a hacer a Corea.

그날 아낙과 모노페로는 꿈의 의미에 관하여 깊이 생각하였고 석수 정령이 그들에게 시장에서 작업을 허락하는 것이라 생각하였다.

During that day anak&monoperro meditated on all this and realised the Seoksu spirit was giving them permission to work in that market.

Durante ese día estuvieron meditando sobre todo esto, y vieron que era el mercado, a través del espíritu, el que les estaba diciendo lo que tenían que hacer allí, y les estaba dando permiso para trabajar allí.

석수 정령 / Seoksu Shilong, the Seoksu Spirit / Seoksu Shilong, el espíritu de Seoksu

이 내용은 아낙(anak)과 모노페로(monoperro)가 한국에서 겪은 몇일 간의 이야기이다.

석수시장의 정령이 이들에게 나타났고 그 후 이들은 석수 정령의 존재를 확신하게 되었다.

그리고 아낙(anak)과 모노페로(monoperro)는 중요한 무언가를 알게 되었다. 석수 정령은 눈에 보이는 물체의 형상으로 나타나야하고, 그들의 본연의 상태로 돌아가고 그들의 존재를 더욱 효과적으로 하기 위해서는 현실세계와 소통을 해야했다.

석수 정령의 이러한 내용을 알고 난 후, 아낙과 모노페로는 그들이 한국에서 해야 할 일들을 알게 되었다.

그들은 그 정령을 몇일 동안 구현하여 석수시장 사람들과 소통할 수 있도록 할 것이다. 그런 후에 그것을 다시 보이지 않는 존재로 만들 것이다. 

This is what anak&monoperro lived during the first few days in Korea.
The Seoksu market spirit had contacted them, therefore they knew of her undoubted existance. But anak&monoperro also knew something important: that spirits sometimes need to materialise in some form and have contact with the earthly world in order to dematerialise after and make their presence and their mission more effective.
From that moment onwards anak&monoperro realised their mission in Korea. They were going to materialise  the spirit for a few days to make contact with the inhabitants of the market and then dematerialise it afterwards, but we will tell more about this later.

Eso fue lo que vivieron anak&monoperro los primeros días de su estancia en Corea.

El espíritu del mercado de Seoksu había contactado con ellos, por lo tanto sabían de su existencia, pero ellos también sabían que los espíritus necesitan, a veces, materializarse y tener contacto con este mundo, para desmaterializarse después, y así hacer más efectiva su presencia. 

A partir de ese momento anak&monoperro se dieron cuenta de a qué habian venido a Corea, iban a materializar el espíritu de Seoksu durante unos días, para ponerlo en contacto con los habitantes del mercado de Seoksu, para desmaterializarlo después, pero sobre eso hablaremos más adelante.

석수시장에 나타난 석수신령 / In this world / En este mundo

아낙과 모노페로는 석수신령을 석수시장으로 초대하였습니다.

시장사람들은 석수신령을 환영하였습니다.

그들은 그녀에게 자신들의 가게에서 가져온 물건을 선물로 주었습니다. 

석수신령은 선물을 가지고 돌아갑니다. 

anak&monoperro joined Seoksu Shilong for a visit in the market.

The market people greeted Seoksu Shilong and offered her products from their stores to take them back with her after her visit.

anak&monoperro acompañaron a Seoksu Shilong a visitar el mercado.

Los habitantes del mercado fueron saludando a Seoksu Shilong y dandole productos de sus tiendas para que se los llevase con ella después de su visita.
